Cellulose-based porous materials – development of a model to determine thermal conductivity
Aim of the project is to predict and design thermal performance of porous materials, in particular cellulose-based materials. To achieve this aim it will be necessary to identify crucial dependencies and key parameters. Also the examination of these materials with non-destructive methods, like X-Ray and µCT will be important and finally, based on these insights, an empirical model will be developed. The model shall be applied for specific material development of sustainable insulation material.
